All items that are not accepted by the regular garbage collection may be brought to an Ecocentre. The closest one is in Ville Emard. Its location is:

All residents of the Island Montreal have access to the Ecocentres.  A proof of residence is required upon admission.

The following are accepted as proof of residence:

- Current year's tax bil
- Driver's license
- Bill
- Lease

The pieces of identity required differ from one Ecocentre to another, therefore it is advisable to bring at least two forms of identification with the same address, as well as a photo I.D.
