PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT

The Department of Public Works is in charge of the Town’s physical plant, and operates a wide range of construction and maintenance operations on our roads, buildings, sanitary systems and parks.

The Department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of a network of street, aqueducts, sewers and lights covering more than 20 kilometres. It is also responsible for the maintenance of municipal buildings, for a wide range of horticultural work, and most of snow clearing activities for the Town of Montreal West.
